This is an annual essay contest featuring the essays of third graders. The winning essays are picked by employees of Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and the student and teacher and parents are treated to lunch with the Mayor of Piggott at a local restaurant of their choice.

About the Event
Third graders at Piggott Elementary School compete in an essay contest telling about their City of Piggott and why they are proud to live here. Essays are judged by employees of Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum in Piggott and the Mayor treats the top 3 winners, their teacher and parents to lunch at a local restaurant of their choice.
